Kern River Rafting Trips

In Sequoia National Forest, just three hours from Los Angeles, a World Class whitewater playground awaits your arrival. Typical Kern River rafting seasons begin the first week of April and run through Labor Day Weekend. “Bigwater” years can extend operations well into October.

Early season trips include One Day, ½ Day, and “Lickety Split” Runs on the Upper Kern and the ever-popular ½ Day “Jungle Run” on the Lower Kern.

Mid-to-late May marks the opening of our One Day, Class IV “Bigwater” and Overnight trips on the Lower Kern as well as Class V “Thunder Runs” on the Upper Kern and our renowned Forks of the Kern trips.
