Meant to submit this review a month ago. . .but wanted to express how great an overnight trip was with Whitewater Voyages! Guides were amazing, fun & knowledgeable. Food was top-notch. Great to say we went rafting during a tropical storm!!

Whitewater Voyages delivered again. This is my 5th time rafting with them and we all had a blast. Our guide "Matt" was fantastic and made the Jungle Run a lot of fun. We stopped at the Jump Rock. It was so much Fun!

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST RIVER RAFTING TRIP EVER! River rafting is all about the guides - their knowledge of the river, their skill in managing a raft full of novices, and their skill in communicating instructions. Our guide, Sam, was awesome, an expert who is passionate about river rafting and an environmentalist to boot. He has a great sense of humor and is a true leader - and he has an excellent inner sense of customer service. I’ve been rafting a few times before and haven’t had such a delicious lunch. Sam laid out a healthy spread of deli roast beef, turkey and chicken cold cuts, sliced cheeses, avocados, fresh green leaf lettuce, tomatoes, red onions and bell pepper along with 4 different types of organic bread. The Whitewater Voyages shop is organized, with convenient parking and excellent facilities, down to the curtained changing rooms outside. Photos of our exhilarating whitewater “voyage” were playing on monitors in the shop and are online awaiting us after our journey home.

The Forks of the Kern is truly a World Class, Class V Wonderland!  My group of intrepid rafters have run rivers across the country and the Forks is, by far, one of, if not THE most beautiful and challenging stretches of river in the country. If you’re an experienced rafter and are looking for a challenging run in the middle of paradise, the Forks is, hands down, the trip you’ve been looking for.

Training & preparing the rafter for the adventure ahead of them is first rate! You are in great hands with their team, and they will show you a great adventure. Attempt to raft with them on a multiple day trip. The camping and food are amazing with their team.

Best, most professional rafting company on the Kern by far! They have the most qualified guides of any of the companies which is definitely something to consider. 

It was my first time ever whitewater rafting. I’m so glad I went with White Water Voyages for my first time ever! Dayana and her staff really know their stuff to make sure you are ready to hit the rapids. All I can say it was the time of my life out there on the Kern River. I’m looking forward to going back and doing it again.

Our group of five had an absolute blast on the Thunder Run section of the Upper Kern with our guide, Sam. It was everything we hoped for and more. Just pure, unadulterated fun. Sam did a great job guiding us down the river while also keeping us entertained with jokes and stories about the river. We're already talking about coming back next summer for the Forks of the Kern trip! Thanks to Sam and everyone at Whitewater Voyages for a great trip!

So much fun. Our guide Josh, Issac and Rose were great. My kids were talking about the day all the way home and are already planning our next trip. The office staff was really sweet (we had a small snafu with the weight of one of our kids) and even though he couldn't go, they really tried. Thanks for the day, we will definitely be back and be requesting Josh as he is great with kids.

We came all the way from Tennessee to run the Lower Kern River with Whitewater Voyages. Your staff (from your reservationists to your fabulous River Guides) made us feel so welcome and cared for. The Lower Kern was Gorgeous! The day was beautiful, the rapids a hoot, and the water was even warm! What a playground! Thanks Whitewater Voyages for a super fun trip. Everyone in our group had so much fun. We’ll be back soon.

Came to celebrate my wife’s birthday and it was an amazing trip. We did the 2-day, overnight trip and the rafting was great! Once we made it to the campground, we set up our stuff and found our sleeping spots for the night and got to sit back and enjoy the beauty of the area all while being taken care of by the guides. The food was great, and it was an awesome experience for everyone in our group.

Did their Jungle Run trip - FANTASTIC! Bull (our guide) was incredible - really personable, funny, and clear about what we needed to do. Saw a family of owls nesting, a bald eagle (that turned out to be a turkey vulture) and jumped off some rocks. 10/10 recommend.

Sliced oranges, carrots and apples satisfied the sweet tooth, though cookies were abundant. The Whitewater Voyages shop is organized, with convenient parking and excellent facilities, down to the curtained changing rooms outside so we could shed our wet clothes after the adventure. We came to run the Double Lickety Split, but ending up with Whitewater Voyages the next day for an unplanned ½ Day trip! We couldn’t get enough! And they applied a 20% Rapid Repeater discount on our second trip since we came back the same year. That was unexpected! Very fun and a great bargain. We all felt well taken care of and in the hands of professional, wonderful people. Thanks Whitewater Voyages!
