Overview & Highlights

Class III-IV.  Southern California's only "Wild and Scenic" whitewater river, the  Upper Kern is naturally divided into numerous sections with rapids that are legends in the word of whitewater:... each with its own unique attributes. We run whichever sections are flowing best on the day of your trip. Our buses and flatbed raft trailers make transfers from run to run smooth and swift.  

This One Day trip includes lunch over the course of the day.  Minimum age 9.

Policies and Agreement

  • Changes to Trip Itinerary

    During high water, low water, and some early or late season trips, it occasionally becomes necessary to move a trip to an alternate stretch of river that will provide a superior trip experience.  Trip itinerary changes are rare, but not unheard of.

    Wetsuits and Paddling Jackets may be REQUIRED on all of our trips through the end of May, and sometimes into the month of June due to high snowpack seasons.  You may bring your own, however we can provide them for you for a nominal rental fee of $20.00/set.  

    Please arrive 20 minutes prior to your Meet Time to allow plenty of time to check-in and get outfitted with Wetsuits and/or Paddling Jackets.


  • One Day/1/2 Day Cancellation Policy

    • Payment is due at the time of reservation.
    • Deposits are due when reservation is placed.
    • Deposits are non-refundable.
    • Balance is due 30 days prior to launch date.
    • Cancellations made outside of 30 days of trip departure are eligible for refund of balance paid less the non-refundable deposit.
    • Cancellations made inside of 30 days of trip departure are non-refundable.
    • Please notify us immediately of any change to your reservation status.
